The United States has long been a popular tourists, education and business destination. Students from all over the world vie for admission among the best educational institutions in America. So much so that in 2017, there was a 3% increase in the number of international students in US universities, as compared to the previous year, according to the 2017 Open Doors Report on the International Educational Exchange data, released by IIE and the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The report further showed that the number of Indian students in the US rose for the fourth year in a row, to reach a whopping 186,000 in 2017.
