Brown Nation – a sitcom starring that dude from 3 idiots and a bunch of other characters is all set to take over.
This slice-of-life series set in New York features the acting talents of Rajeev Varma, Omi Vaidya, Shenaz Treasurywala (remember 90s MTV?) and Melanie Chandra. It is being directed by Abi Varghese – the man behind “Akkara Kazhchagal”, a once very popular Malayalam sitcom that aired on Kairali TV for three years.
The series is created and written by Matt Grubb, George Kanatt and Abi Varghese. It revolves around the life of a small “desi run” IT company in NYC and their daily struggles. Here is the trailer and it is looking promising. Here’s their IMDB page for more info.
