So, the latest news from the Telecom world is that BSNL is offering unlimited voice calls to any network in India for Rs.149/month!

That’s right. According to reports, here is the quote from BSNL CMD.

“We have plans to introduce an unlimited local and national voice call plan to any network with a bit of free data for Rs 149 or less than that for our cellphone subscribers from next month,” BSNL CMD Anupam Shrivastava told reporters here on Sunday. Source – The Hindu

BSNL os getting more and more competitive by the day. They are getting closer to profitability and can go to any length for combating competition.

Of course, Reliance Jio and AirTel are all great offers but there is no beating if BSNL can match up those offers.

I think competition in the Telecom sector is always good. More competition means better prices. Which only means we get cheaper offers and customers benefit at the end.

2017 will be see a lot of competitive wars being fought in the Indian Telecom sector. With Reliance, AirTel and BSNL now locking horns each other, let us wait and watch who will win!
