  6. Hi,

Pls note that Kidney transplant is permitted only in case of live related – kidney transplants as well as deceased donor – kidney transplants.

According to Indian Organ Donation Rules and Regulations: LIVE RELATED DONORS means the donor is in a way related by blood with the recipient and CADAVAR DONORS means brain dead patients.

For your own safety pls don’t share your desperate situation along with your contact numbers in here of any other forums. Chances you may be cheated and also the Indian government can put you behind bars including the hospital that performs such transplants.

Incase you don’t find matching donor within your blood relatives, pls search for hospitals that offers Kidney Transplants across blood group.

This site is a good one for health related searches. Pls help maintaining its sanity.
