Ritu Kumar is one of the oldest and India’s No.1 fashion designer for women since 1969. Her designs are very unique and reflect the traditions of ancient Indian craft but in a modern way. She was the first to introduce the concept of ‘boutique’ in India. She has also designed clothes for the winning Miss India participants in the international beauty pageants.
2. Ritu Beri
Ritu Beri is not only an Indian but also a popular fashion designer across the world. Her clothing collections are very popular in France to such an extent that she became the first Asian designer to head the french brand Jean-Louis Scherrer. She had received the Global excellence award for fashion in 2004.
