Videocon has launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone in India named as Cube 3. The smartphone is highlighted with 4G VoLTE and panic button enabled. The device has been priced at Rs. 8,490, and as per sources, it will be available through offline stores only.

The dual-SIM supporting Videocon Cube 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and Dragontrail X protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The Videocon Cube 3 bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and PDAF, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The smartphone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card. In terms of connectivity options, it offers 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. The smartphone is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

The company recently partnered with Reliance Jio for Jio welcome offer that lets you get a Jio SIM with free data, voice calls, SMS and host of Jio apps till December 31st, 2016. As per Government of Indiaโs direction for mandatory Panic Button on the smartphones, the Cube 3 comes with โSOS-Be Safeโ app to get help effectively, swiftly in any emergency conditions by sending an alert to the numbers added to the emergency list. The app also has the GPS feature and provides a map view of nearby police stations and hospitals.
The power button of the phone acts as an SOS button that can be customised to send alerts with the GPS location to friends. Walk with ME sends the location of a user at regular intervals to emergency contacts and Reach On Time sends an alert if a user hasnโt reached a particular destination at the set time.
