The United States may not be civilization as old as India but it does have a rich culture to offer. It is often seen as a happening tourist destination for young travelers, although it does have plenty for senior citizens<\/a> to see and experience too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niagara Falls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When in the United States, enjoy the better part of the majestic Niagara Falls, since the falls here are said to be higher and more dramatic than those on the other side of the border, in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standing at a height of 51 meters, this grand waterfall is a delight during the day, when you can spot rainbows over it. And in night, when the Niagara Falls Illumination Board lights it up in multiple colors, it looks even more beautiful. You can also take the Maid of the Mist<\/a> tour through the falls. Branson, Missouri<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Branson isn\u2019t on everybody’s to-do list, but it surely is a fun place to be for senior citizens. Firstly, since it is not very popular among tourists, so you\u2019ll find it quieter than most big towns. Secondly, it is known as the \u201clive show capital of the world\u201d for a reason. Conner Prairie, Indiana<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Conner Prairie is an interactive history park in Fisher, Indiana. It preserves the home of William Conner, an American trader, and scout. It is listed on America\u2019s National Register of Historic Places<\/a> and can be visited to see recreated bits of life in 19th-century, Indiana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Valley, Arizona<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Right next to the Mexican border is Green Valley, probably the most visited destination by senior citizens in the United States. It was built as a retirement village for the elderly and is quite literally custom-made for them. If you\u2019re active and like outdoor fun, you can enjoy golfing in the vast fields here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you\u2019re looking for a more laid back experience, Green Valley has that too! Just sit back and watch the sunset across a vast desert, with dry cactuses and their blooming flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sedona, Arizona<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sedona offers you the best of both worlds. If you\u2019re fond of city life, it has plenty of art gigs and other shows going on all year round. It is also one of those places in America that boasts sumptuous food. And if you\u2019re looking to get away from the city, just wander off a little further and you\u2019ll find beautiful red sand formations, underneath a clear sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United States has a lot to offer for people of all ages, so don\u2019t restrict yourself to a \u2018senior citizen\u2019s itinerary\u2019, wander off and who knows, you might enjoy Las Vegas more than the Statue of Liberty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
