PAN (Permanent Account Number) is an identity card issued to the residents by the income tax department in India. \n2. Select the documents that you are going to provide for Identity Proof and address proof from the drop down menu. Make sure that you have the copy and original of the documents you have chosen.
\n3. After finishing the above steps, click the \u2018Validate\u2019 button. It will show you the filled application form to your for confirmation. If everything is correct, click \u2018Submit\u2019 button.
\n4.Now you have to pay the application fee which is Rs.96. For this,click the \u2018Make payment\u2019 button and choose any one of the two payment gateway options Billdesk and PayUIndia. You can pay the money by using credit card \/ debit card \/ internet banking or any other payment options available.
\n5. If the payment is a success, it will be endorsed on the form and you should save it or take a print out of that using the \u2018Print Form\u2019 option.
\n6. Take the hard copy of the form and affix two photographs of size 3.5 x 2.5 cms on the space provided and put your signature across the photograph.
\n7. Put your signatures wherever needed in the boxes provided.
