SBI Platinum Credit Card Review

The SBI platinum is a card apt for people who wish make points on their annual spending at departmental stores or international purchases. There is an initial fee as well as a renewal fee annually of 2999 each which might be slightly on the higher end. But if you’re annual spending is above 4 lakh rupees this would be a good choice as you can avail numerous vouchers or free air tickets on your points gained.

If you are not interested in any of the above benefits and just need a card for making payments SBI Gold would be appropriate. If you wish to explore other brands ICICI Platinum has also interesting features and do offer numerous rewards. The joining fee for this card is nil and you don’t have to pay any further credit card fee if you own a valid fixed deposit. The interest rate is only 2.49% per month or 29.88% annualized which is much lower compared to SBI.

The SBI Signature Card is more of an expensive deal but its benefits that accompany this card is too good. SBI Signature Card Review

The SBI Signature Card is an exclusive card which is meant for the real shoppers as well people who travel a lot. The joining fee as well annual renewal charges of 4999 is pretty high but if you can avail all the benefits it is truly worth the money spent. If you have an annual spending of 5 lakh and above you can get an additional bonus reward of 20000 which can be redeemed at Indigo, Taj, Shopper’s Stop or Fossil/Armani. But if you feel annual charge is pretty high and you are a frequent traveler you can also try the Yatra SBI card which has an annual fee of only Rs 499. Standard Chartered Yatra Platinum Card is also a promising choice which also gives a 2.5% fuel surcharge waiver on your fuel bills that is not available with Yatra SBI card. The initial fee is 499 and from 2nd year the renewal fee is 499.

SBI Gold Card and more is apt for users who wish to avail credit facilities for meeting their expenses. You can gain points by making your utility payments or on Dining, Departmental stores, Grocery and International Spends. The joining fee is very nominal and you don’t need to pay the annual charges if you make annual spending with the card is 75000 annually. This card is suitable for all and you can have add on benefit for availing cards for your spouse or family relatives. The rewards offered is slightly lesser when compared to Platinum and Signature Cards. If you are a heavy shopper and have frequent international spends this card would not be much of a help.

4. Yatra SBI Credit Card

Yatra SBI Card is an international card that caters to providing benefits for international shopping as well as holidays. SBI has a tie up between travel website Yatra.com and its users can avail discounts as well holiday packages for their tours. Apart from the travel delights you can also meet all your utility bills like electricity, insurance, telephone conveniently. You can also get access to E-statements to your email account and get the credit card status through mobile alerts.

On joining you get travel vouchers worth Rs 8250 that can be used for your travel purposes.
For every 100 spent you gain 1 point and for purchases made at Yatra.com you get 6x Bonus Points on Base Fare/ Base Tariffs.

SBI Yatra Card Review

Yatra SBI card is exclusively for business executives as well professionals who have a requirement to travel often. You can gain points on your travel and again redeem the points for getting discounts on your travel. The initial fee and the annual charge is nominal. Even if you are using this card occasionally for your travel plans it would benefit you. You can also gain points on your purchases at department, grocery or utility bills.

But if you wish to get more rewards you could try the Air India SBI Signature card which offers ample rewards. It has a joining fee as well as an annual charge of Rs 4999 which is a bit on the higher end. For frequent travelers this card could benefit and the rewards are quite promising too. Standard Chartered Yatra Platinum Card is also a promising choice which also gives a 2.5% fuel surcharge waiver on your fuel bills that is not available with Yatra SBI card. The initial fee is 499 and from 2nd year the renewal fee is 499.

5. Air India SBI Platinum Card

You can avail discounts on your tours and even make your payments of utility bills, purchase from department stores with this card.

Air India Platinum Card is a genuinely good card for travelers and does offer good benefits too. The annual fee is not too high and this card can be beneficial if you travel frequently. Additionally you can also make points on your expenses made and redeem them while booking your tickets. Other options include the Yatra SBI card which has lower annual charges of 499 and it does come with a fair share of benefits too. The HDFC Bank JetPrivilege Platinum also has exciting offers and comes with an annual charge of 999.You get an introductory offer f 4000 points and 5% discount on all tickets booked with jet airlines.
