You can get access to airport lounges in selected domestic and international terminals in India.

All credit card purchases above 5000 can be split into simple payment options of 3, 6, 9 or 12 Months. But it comes with a 1.5% for processing & interest charges of 1.5% monthly.

Review

The Galaxia a premium credit card offered by ING Vysya. The joining fee is 1500 which is slightly high when compared to rewards offered. It gives you numerous privileges but no shopping or travel vouchers accompany this card. If you wish to go for a cheaper option you could try the ING Solaris Credit Card that comes with lower joining fees. Another option would be the Citibank Cash Back Credit Card which offers privileges with dining, movie tickets and even telephone bills. It comes with an annual charge of 500 and allows hassle free cash redemption too.

Review

The Solaris Credit Card has its perks and does give you an easy option to earn points while making purchases. The rewards are tempting and the joining fee is pretty nominal. The Galaxia Credit Card offers some additional benefits as seen with the Solaris Credit Card. Galaxia might be a little expensive but in addition it does offer golf courses across India. If you wish to check other brands then you could try the Titanium Smart Traveler Credit Card from Axis Bank. It has a joining fee of 250 and an annual fee of 100 but it comes with better travel benefits. The card has fuel surcharge waiver and comes with zero lost card liability too.

If you have difficulty in getting the bank to sanction your credit card then you could always opt the Credit card against fixed deposit. For Solaris Credit card you need a minimum FD of 25000 Rupees while that for Galaxia you need 10,0000 Rupees.The card provides with numerous privileges and enables you earn points on purchases. The rewards and fees would be according to the card that you have opted. This provision has been enabled to help customers to avail credit card if the bank does not sanction credit card and they do not meet the criteria.
